University of Michigan researchers have uncovered a new compound to help stop prostate cancer growth by targeting two proteins, p300 and CBP. The compound they’ve developed selectively degrades these proteins, indirectly stopping cancer progression. Early tests show the drug can shrink tumors in castration-resistant prostate cancer models in animals. Click below to discover what Dr. Arul Chinnaiyan and Dr. Shaomeng Wang have to say about its potential to improve treatment for prostate cancers.
