The Diag has been the heart of the University of Michigan’s Central Campus since the mid-1800s, hosting student gatherings, rallies, and ceremonies. Its diagonal pathways and the bronze “M” make it a central part of campus life. Recent upgrades, like new walkways, improved drainage, and an ADA-compliant ramp, help preserve it for future students.
