According to data from the U-M National Poll on Healthy Aging, adults working beyond age 65 report positive effects on their health and well being. Whether working full-time, part-time, as an employee, or self-employed, nearly half of the respondents said that work provides them with a sense of purpose and helps keep their minds sharp.
