Many summer celebrations include fireworks, but some parents might be overlooking burn and injury risks for children. A new poll from the U-M Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital suggests that parents don’t consistently cover all safety precautions, finding that only one in five parents polled said children sat at least 100 feet away from aerial fireworks.
