According to a University of Michigan study, more than half of all new doctors face some form of sexual harassment in their first year on the job, including nearly three-quarters of all new female doctors and a third of males. Astonishingly enough, this number is down and trending in the right direction when compared to similar studies done in the last five to six years. The research goes on to highlight certain medical specializations have more work to do than others in educating and protecting new providers.
