During an intensive 3-day research challenge, U-M Chemical Engineering faculty joined forces with McGill University researchers to create the “Turbinator,” a tool designed for rapid microgel production. These microgels are used in wound healing and cell research, and the team also introduced a greener material derived from recycled oils.
