The Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program provides support for cancer patients and was just launched at C.S. Mott’s Children Hospital and the Rogel Cancer Center. Support for this age group is essential because only about five percent of cancers are diagnosed in people under the age of forty, which can be hard for the younger population to find comfort in their environment.
