The uterus is complex, with billions of cells and many cell types. Research led by Michigan Medicine sheds light on the many cell types in the uterus and how their characteristics and relative numbers change with age and during menstrual cycles. Ultimately, these findings could act as a map for future treatments, diagnoses, and more.
