Trinh T. Minh-ha, a filmmaker, writer, and music composer born in Vietnam, will speak at the Michigan Theater as part of the Penny Stamps Speaker Series. Her diverse body of work, including nine feature films and numerous books, explores colonialism, conflict, and displacement themes. The event is free and open to the public and is presented in partnership with the Ann Arbor Film Festival and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
