This April, two-time Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Kurt Elling will bring his unique brand of contemporary lyricism and vocal innovation to the Michigan Theatre for a special performance celebrating Weather Report, one of jazz’s most iconic supergroups. Joined by Weather Report alumnus Peter Erskine, Elling will present reimaginings of the fusion band’s legendary songs, drawing inspiration from their constellation of musicians.
