Phung Huynh, a Los Angeles-based artist, explores themes of cultural perception, assimilation, and identity, particularly through her work with Cambodian and Vietnamese refugee communities. Her upcoming installation, Angkorian Homecoming (March 20–May 2, 2025), examines the repatriation of looted Cambodian Buddha statues, sparking dialogue on art provenance and cultural preservation. Huynh has exhibited internationally and received several fellowships while contributing to public art and community engagement initiatives.
