2024 was labeled a “super year” for politics, with over 70 countries holding national elections. Now, in 2025, where does democracy stand? To kick off the Year of Democracy, Civic Empowerment, & Global Engagement, a panel of experts will examine the global state of democracy and explore the lessons learned from a year in which more than 4 billion people had the opportunity to vote.
