A recent study from the University of Michigan, published in Health Affairs, explored the safety of ADHD stimulant prescriptions via telehealth, revealing a slight increase in substance use disorder (SUD) risk, particularly among adults aged 26 to 34. The findings suggest that while telehealth can provide essential care, further monitoring and screening for addiction risks may be necessary, especially for certain age groups.
