Joshua Ehrlich, an associate professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences, recently led a study through the Michigan Health Lab that uncovered surprising findings about the impact of vision impairments on driving. The research pointed to certain vision factors, which aren’t typically evaluated in DMV tests, as key contributors to driving safety.
