Brad is a graduate of UM’s Taubman College of Architecture and Planning. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the ASU – Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Brad has had a bifurcated career, first working as a Fortune 500 corporation business executive with architectural design firms in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. In this role, Brad travelled extensively across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Brad enjoyed growing professional relationships and personal friendships with UM grads all over the world.
Recently, Brad has taken on a role of entrepreneur and investor. He has participated in the early growth stages of several fast growing tech companies that have been profitably sold or have moved from the private to public markets. Currently, Brad is co-owner of a legal document management company serving law firms and corporations worldwide.
The “Why” For Michigan is simple enough. Brad is a native Ann Arborite and his immediate and extended family have had a student or employee relationship with the University reaching back nearly 100 years. The Ann Arbor neighborhoods that Brad grew up in were filled with Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, esteemed professors, medical researchers, musicians and artists…all tethered to the University. There is a ‘line of continuity’ with Brad and the University that has lasted a lifetime. Whether in a official capacity or ‘ex-officio’, serving as an Ambassador for the University was long ago ‘hard wired’ into Brad’s personality and comes second nature.
Brad lives in downtown Scottsdale with his wife Suzanne and their Bernedoodle “Maggie”. Both Brad and Suzanne are avid photographers/creators and travel extensively…never failing of course… to run into a fellow alumni and sharing a terrific Michigan story.
