President David Boike: David A. Boike received his Bachelor’s degree in 1981 from LS&A and Doctorate degree from the School of Dentistry in 1985. David had a private practice in his hometown of Flint for thirty years. In 2015 he retired and spends his winters in Naples, Florida and summers in northern Michigan. His wife Mary played on the varsity tennis team for four years and graduated from the School of Nursing in 1984. Their three children are all U-M alumni as well. In addition to traveling, David and Mary enjoy their eight grandchildren.
Treasurer Shirley Gofrank: Shirley Gofrank earned a BA from LS&A in 1969 and an MA from the School of Information Science in 1973. She followed that with accounting students and an MST at Walsh College. Shirley had a 40-year career in public accounting in the metro Detroit area and is a licensed CPA in Michigan and Florida. Shirley has a sister, brother, and son who have degrees from Michigan.
Secretary Nancy BeightsNancy was born and raised in Ann Arbor. She received a BS in Biology and Mathematics from the University of Michigan in 1972. She subsequently moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she earned a MS in Mathematics and Secondary School Administration from Purdue University. After her move to Naples, she earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Miami. She was a mathematics educator for 42 years, including 7 years as Mathematics coordinator for Collier County Public Schools. She has received numerous awards and grants, including Golden Apple Teacher in 1997 and a nomination for University of Miami teacher of Distinction. She currently tutors mathematics for students in grades 6-12, is an officer on several Boards of Directors, sings in the choir at Grace Lutheran Church, and helps coordinate a STEAM event for 5th grade girls every year, delivering 300 kits this past year. Her interests include sewing, knitting, gardening, native plant restoration, and water aerobics. She has been married to her husband Steve for over 50 years, has two adult sons and two grandchildren.
Communications Gary Timin: Gary Timin is a 1979 graduate of the U-M Law School and the Institute of Public Policy Studies. Ever since then he practiced law in a variety of settings, in Florida since 1984, and moved from Miami to Naples in 2020. 
Scholarship & Student Recruitment Kristi Benson Foster: Kristi earned her Bachelor’s degree in LS&A in 1988. Shortly after graduating, Kristi worked as an admissions counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, with a focus on recruitment, international admissions, and admitted student programs. Her career continued with student and faculty programs for the foundation of a professional engineering society. After a move to Naples, Florida with her husband and two young children, 24 years ago, Kristi volunteered, with the U-M Alumni Club, local education foundation, school PTOs, and her sons’ activities.  More recently, Kristi has re-engaged with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as an admitted student recruiter (ASR) and scholarship coordinator and is a mentor for Champions for Learning.  When possible, Kristi and her husband enjoy spending time in Ann Arbor, supporting and attending U-M athletic and music events, and traveling. Forever Go Blue!
John Wiltz: Dr. John Wiltz was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. He attended U-M Ann Arbor, receiving his B.S. (Zoology) in 1973 and his D.S.S. in 1981. He practiced dentistry for 36 years in the Flint and Davison communities. John and his wife Vicki were married after his 3rd year of Dental School and were blessed with 3 beautiful children Michael, Lauren, and Andrew. They now have eight wonderful grandchildren, all spoiled by their grandparents. After retiring, they now enjoy time in Naples Florida and on Lake Norman in Mooresville, North Carolina. It is Great to be a Michigan Wolverine!

Bill Colburn
Mike Ickovitz: Michael Iczkovitz graduated from the University of Michigan, L.S.A. With a B.A. in history 71’ and the University of Michigan Dental School with a D.D.S. 75’.  He finished a general practice residency at the Michael Reese Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois 76’ and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania 79.’Michael is married to Linda, has three children, two are alumni of the University of Michigan, and seven grandchildren. Michael is semiretired, teaching part time at Indiana University Dental School and Medical Center in Indianapolis and doing some part time hospital surgery in Fort Wayne, IN.
