The Stamps School of Art and Design invites you to an afternoon of critical conversation about the rapidly growing field of digital art and how new technologies shape our social realities. In partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit, transmedia artist Stephanie Dinkins and leading scholar of race and digital media Lisa Nakamura will reflect on Dinkins’ wide-ranging work and consider how data and digital tools might better serve Black and marginalized communities.
This event is free and open to the public; no registration is required.
