Poll Shows Wide Variation in Older Adults’ Preparations to Age in Place

Despite most older adults looking to “age in place,” or remain in their homes as they age rather than move into assisted living facilities, only 46% have actually taken the steps to do so. New findings from the National Poll on Healthy Aging show a wide variation among older adults when preparing their homes to meet their future needs.
