Histotripsy, a noninvasive procedure that uses focused ultrasound to mechanically break down tumors, and pioneered by U-M faculty and students, met its goals for technical success and safety. Mishal Mendiratta-Lala, M.D., clinical professor of radiology and lead principal investigator of the trial, shares highlights from the trial.
