Angell Hall, completed in 1924, was built to address overcrowding at the University of Michigan and became an iconic part of the Ann Arbor campus. Designed by architect Albert Kahn, the building blends classical architectural elements and houses significant inscriptions that reflect the university’s values. Today, it continues to serve as a central space for students, faculty, and staff.
