A University of Michigan study, led by kinesiology professor Erin Giles of the Rogel Cancer Center, found that a combination of bazedoxifene and conjugated estrogens (BZA/CE) reduced breast cancer risk and improved metabolic health in obese rats—offering a promising alternative to tamoxifen.
