Amidst Uncertainty, Experts at U-M’s EV Center Symposium Say Continued Innovation Is Key

 At the University of Michigan’s Electric Vehicle Center Symposium, nearly 300 experts convened to explore solutions to key challenges in electric vehicle (EV) adoption, including range limitations and charging infrastructure. U-M researchers showcased recent projects, such as high-power motors with ripple reduction technology and studies on lithium-ion battery particle behavior. These efforts underscore the College of Engineering’s leading role in shaping the future of sustainable mobility.
