Strengthen your skills to be a more effective community organizer with Michigan Online. The course “Community Organizing for Social Justice” draws upon the work of organizers for community change in metropolitan Detroit. Participants will examine core concepts of social justice and practical steps for bringing people together to set goals and priorities, assess community assets and needs, develop action plans, build implementation support, and more.

This course is free for U-M alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
