Glaucoma, a group of eye diseases that cause loss of sight by damaging the optic nerve, is more prevalent than previously thought, according to a new study co-led by U-M researchers. Joshua Ehrlich, M.D., M.P.H., first author of the study and U-M professor, highlights key findings and implications for future health policy.
