College Students’ Mental Health Improving, More Finding Support

What has been the impact of the pandemic on student mental health? According to the latest annual Healthy Minds Study, conducted in part by U-M researchers, mental health is getting better for students across the United States as there are reported less anxiety and depression and an increasing amount of mental health support. Justin Heinze, associate professor of health behavior and health equity in U-M’s School of Public Health and principal investigator of the study, explores key findings, suggesting that they serve as an indicator of student mental health across the U.S.
