My “Why”: Growing up in Gull Lake, Michigan, going to the University of Michigan was always my first choice. The education I received there was world-class, preparing me for both my career and my lifelong involvement in social causes. I love to spread the word about what a great institution it is. I’ve been actively involved with alumni activities in New York, LA and now Phoenix. Last year was my first trip back to campus in several years and we had the pleasure of attending a football game at the Big House–truly an amazing experience.
