Marcie Gunnell is a graduate of LS&A with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science. She also holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Louisville. She is a healthcare actuary and has worked for Mercer Health and Benefits and Deloitte Consulting, consulting with both large employers and State Medicaid agencies. She is a past president of the University of Michigan Louisville Club. Marcie is also a Michigan letterwinner, in Women’s softball, and proud to have contributed to the record setting NCAA all-time wins of the esteemed Carol Hutchins as part of “Hutch’s” first senior class. She has two adult sons and a very well named dog, Jazzy. Her “Why” for Michigan is to support networking opportunities for alumni as well as connect with students and families considering the “Leaders and Best”.
