Ayanna provides leadership and direction to the Association and its leadership team, coordinating all Board of Directors activities and working with all U-M campuses.

Vice President & CFO

Angila and her team ensure the Association is operating efficiently and effectively through financial oversight, technical support, and facilities management.
Dave Schueler, ’92
Senior Vice President, Alumni Engagement

Dave and his team oversee all alumni programming, including travel, Camp Michigania, alumni engagement, athletics, education, and career.
Shumiala Kinnear
Vice President for University Relations & Chief Development Officer

Shumiala and her team oversee the Association’s fundraising, university relations, alumni advocacy, and student engagement programs.
Robert Clendening
Vice President for Marketing and Communications

Robert and his team help build awareness and stronger engagement for the Association’s programming through multi-channel campaigns and strategies. The team also develops and implements membership services for alumni.
Katie Ehnis
Associate Vice President for Human Resources

Katie and her team develop and execute human resource strategy in support of the strategic direction of the Association. Additionally, the team oversees the strategic planning process and customer service function for the organization, and she also leads the Association’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategic initiatives.
