Heidi Wegmueller has worked for the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan as its Senior Manager of Corporate Partnerships since December 2018. In this role, she works with companies to create customized marketing and advertising partnerships to help achieve their goals and objectives, while also providing U-M alumni with unique offerings from companies across the world. She currently also serves as the President of the newly formed Ann Arbor Area Alums Group, connecting U-M alumni in the greater Washtenaw County area. Prior to the Alumni Association, Heidi managed corporate partnership programs at Division I collegiate athletic departments: IMG College, representing Eastern Michigan University; LEARFIELD Sports, representing the University of Wisconsin and Bradley University overseeing the external affairs team. In addition, she worked for The PGA of America where she interviewed professional golfers and wrote press releases after the rounds and also sold and managed their corporate partnerships. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in Sports Management and Communications and her M.S. from Lynn University in International Mass Communications. Heidi is a dual Swiss and USA citizen as her father was born and raised in Winterthur, Switzerland prior to emigrating to the USA. She has traveled extensively throughout Switzerland as she still has family and friends who reside there.
