Poor sleep health, especially in individuals with chronic conditions like diabetes or osteoarthritis, can lead to a decline in mobility over time. A study from University of Michigan Health found that sleep disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea, were associated with increased use of assistive devices and worsened physical functioning.
