Nosebleeds are fairly common in children but how do you differentiate between a messy nuisance and something more serious? Terrance Pleasant, M.D, a fellow in pediatric otolaryngology head and neck surgery at University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, talks about the top causes for a bloody nose and simple ways parents can control them. Pleasant also explains what treatments are available, when it is time to see a doctor and tips for preventing nosebleeds in kids.
