The effects of war on civilians are often studied in a matter pertaining to psychological trauma but not interpersonal outcomes. Greta Uehling, a lecturer in International and Comparative Studies at the University of Michigan, has studied the impacts of war on civilians and their relationships since Russia seized Crimea in 2014. Uehling explores her findings in this article for The Conversation.
