The University of Michigan Department of Voice and USO present “Don Pasquale”. This is one of the three most popular Italian comic operas. It tells the story of an old, rich bachelor, his nephew, fake wife and the plan to get him to back his nephew’s marriage. Abbigail Coté, stage director, and music director, Kirk Severtson set this production in the 1940s. This performance is by the Rome cast, as in grand opera tradition each performance features a different cast.
