Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers across the globe. However, the numerical staging system, used for other types of cancer, has not been added into national guidelines for treatment or testing of new medicines in clinical trials for prostate cancer. A team at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center developed a staging system to make more informed treatment decisions.
