Alex Parks, Master’s Student in Health Behavior and Health Education at the U-M School of Public Health, talks about her first semester of grad school, which began in a difficult time with the COVID-19 pandemic, a presidential election as well as the racial and social justice movement took off. She also highlights how public health helps provide her with information as a student and activist.
