Michigan Medicine’s Cheryl King, PhD, studies teen suicide and prevention. In a TEDMED talk, she talks about the rising suicide rate among teens and the concept of the Youth-Nominated Supported Team. This concept asks high risk teens to pick adults to help them recover and helps prepare those adults to help.
