The School of Public Health’s Population Healthy Podcast presents “The Inequitable Impact of Environment on Health”. A 2019 study found that African Americans are exposed to 56% more pollution than they produce. On the other hand, White Americans are exposed to 17% less pollution than they produce. This episode will feature faculty, community partners and alumni who are working on environmental policy in order to reduce the disparities that people of color face, especially with the ongoing impacts of climate change.
