Study: U.S. Cannabis Advertising Policies Suffer From a Lack of Consistency

The U.S. and Canada differ significantly in how cannabis is regulated. When it comes to policies regulating cannabis advertising and marketing, the two countries are even further apart, according to a new University at Buffalo study that compared cannabis marketing policies in Canada and among U.S. states. Daniel Kruger, Ph.D., co-author of the study and research investigator with the Population Studies Center in the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan, explores key findings and takeaways.
