Study Compares Greenhouse Gas Reductions for Light-Duty Vehicles

A new study from the University of Michigan and Ford Motor Co. analyzes the impacts of pickup truck electrification on the decarbonization of the transportation industry and evaluates the savings in greenhouse gas emissions relative to gasoline-powered pickup trucks. Greg Keoleian, senior author of the study, professor, and director of the Center for Sustainable Systems in the School for Environment and Sustainability, discusses the team’s key findings.
