Students Develop Digital Tool to Help The Fight Against Malaria

Malaria has been prevalent globally for decades with no sign of slowing. Hundreds of millions are infected with the disease yearly, and hundreds of thousands lose their lives. But students from Jon Zeiner’s Public Health class at the University of Michigan have developed a tool to aid in the crisis. This public health tool provides an overview of malaria, its etiologic agent, symptoms, transmission, and prevalent regions, also the common ways to prevent, control, and treat it.
