With another completed study of the MI CReSS or the Michigan COVID-19 Research Surveillance Study, researchers were able to note some key differences in the effects of the pandemic on different communities across Michigan. Colleen MacCallum-Bridges, a postdoctoral research fellow who led the report in the School of Public Health discusses the findings of the study including, for example, long COVID is more pertinent in rural communities and metropolitan communities struggle more with access to care.
