Researchers Develop New Agent to Help Root Out Hypertension-Causing Tumor

A team of researchers from Michigan Medicine has developed a new noninvasive method to identify causes of hypertension with a drastic reduction in radiation exposure. Allen Brooks, Ph.D., an assistant research scientist, discusses the new method, sharing how the new diagnostic agent is a modern improvement to an agent also developed at U-M almost 50 years ago. Brooks elaborates on who will benefit from the method and provides more context for the discovery.
