Presented by Michigan News

Quantum entanglement, something that unnerved Einstein, is expected to be applied to smartphones. According to a new study,  quantum entanglement radically improves the precision of sensors that can navigate without GPS. Zheshen Zhang, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Michigan, discusses the study’s findings and how quantum entanglement can improve the speed and accuracy of measurements.
