Pancreatic cancer is incredibly dangerous because it can change typical cell survival mechanisms in order to get nutrients to continue spreading. New research from the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center found that the GOT1 enzyme can change the cancer cells so they use the nutrients to maintain energy levels rather than increasing growth.
