Epilepsy, a neurological disorder, requires a transition in care as more children survive into adulthood with the disorder. Children begin to manage their own in order to maintain independence, attend college, and get a job. A new tool developed at Michigan Medicine provides the doctors of young epilepsy patients the ability to watch their knowledge and self-management skills.
