As women enter the field of neurology, there comes the realization that this is still a male-dominated field. Even with the patriarchal grasp on the field, women have become leaders in neurology and helped change the field. Eva Feldman, M.D., Ph.D., has spent decades trying to increase diversity in the field and has been at the forefront of new technology in neurodegenerative diseases, using it to understand the condition and develop treatments. Feldman discusses the journey and mentorship she’s gained and how this can help the next generation of medical students.
