The JWST continues its streak of producing first-of-its-kind, groundbreaking imagery. The telescope captured a molecular and chemical portrait of a distant world’s skies, focusing on a planet called a “hot Saturn” and showing active chemistry. The latest data also hint at how these clouds might look up close: broken up rather than a single, uniform blanket over the planet.
