Most Older Adults Ready to Roll up Sleeves This Fall for Updated COVID-19 Boosters, U-M Poll Shows

Within weeks, updated COVID-19 vaccines could become available across the United States, but will Americans rush to roll up their sleeves to receive the dosage? In a poll conducted by the University of Michigan, 61% of people over 50, who have already gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, are more likely to get the updated booster come fall. The poll suggests that while many older Americans plan to get the vaccine once made available, those numbers could potentially sway depending on the primary care providers’ position.
