A new study found that over half of people who use medical marijuana to alleviate pain also suffer from multiple withdrawal symptoms when they are between uses. Many people do not realize that these symptoms come from their brain and body’s reaction to an absence of cannabis, rather than their underlying condition. The symptoms may range from change in sleep, mood, mental state, energy and appetite.
