Michigan Ross Professor Urges More Civility in Radiology

The workplace is a fluid ecosystem where all variables are in constant flux but also stable to ensure proper productivity levels. However, toxicity has no boundaries and can poison even the most cohesive work environments. Drs. Kimberly Garver and Vikas Gulani, both of the University of Michigan Department of Radiology, note that incivility among colleagues has been identified as a particular problem in radiology, including sexual harassment, racism, bullying, and negative behaviors in the workplace.
